Travel to Africa to volunteer with a Grassroots Partner. This program is for those who want to volunteer in Africa with one of our SpanAfrica Grassroots Partner Organizations.
Our partners have projects in need of volunteers year-round, for periods from 3 weeks to 6 months. SpanAfrica will help to find the project and partner organization right for you, based on your time commitment, experience, interests, and skills.
GlobalReach
Volunteer through on-line communication and support of Partner requests via email, file transfer, and web based research.
This innovative program is the first of its kind, enabling volunteers from around the world to lend their expertise in a wide range of skills to support grassroots organizations with guidance in Health & Medicine, Architecture, Engineering, Farming and Animal Husbandry, --any experience and information that may be transmitted by means of the Internet.
The materials you and the Grassroots Partner develop together are then shared on our unique development portal; where any Grassroots Partner or volunteer can access your wisdom for their work in the future.
We welcome a diverse set of skills and experience. There is no application fee!

This program supports Africans volunteering in their own communities at our Grassroots Partners. SpanAfrica will work with you to find placements matching your interests, skills, and career goals. There is no application fee!
