We have come together to create support for our families in villages where few options exist. We live in a farming region where shorter rainy seasons, mounting drought, and rampant deforestation combine to cause water and food shortages. Your contribution makes up a tremendous percentage of the income that allows our members to clothe and feed those who depend on them.

Each Nina Bag is painstakingly crafted by a Nina Initiative member (sometimes our children join in). This family project transforms post-industrial recycled plastic into a woven, versatile handbag that is 100 percent fair-trade, paring old-fashioned durability with modern style. This silver bag is as 'green' as it gets.
